powerKNOW Tree Loader

powerKNOW Tree Loader is a GUI program designed to load directories or directory trees of existing documents (office, ...) into a powerKNOW knowledge database. It's possible to load such document trees once or to reload and refresh from time to time.

Each matching document found in the directory tree will be loaded as the first (and only) attachment of a knowledge document. So each file found in the tree matching all criteria will result in a separate knowledge document. Contents of title and first text of the knowledge document can be specified.

Possible uses:

• Initially load existing documents into a new knowledge base.
  
  
• Hold a copy of a tree of external documents in the knowledge base and keep these copys up to date.

powerKNOW Tree Loader can be run from the command line or as a Windows GUI program. It has to be run from the powerKNOW installation directory on the machine where powerKNOW was installed. For details see:
